Neutralize the Appearance of Redness

Muted Green is one of Graftobian's professional Glamour Crème™ corrective shades, designed specifically to help counteract the appearance of unwanted red tones in the complexion.

Color correction works on a simple principle: opposite colors on the color wheel help neutralize one another.

Because green sits opposite red, a thin layer of Muted Green can help visually soften red tones in the skin.

This makes it especially useful for:

• Visible facial redness

• Red-looking blemishes and blemish marks

• Blotchy or uneven red areas

• Rosacea-prone areas

• Small areas of surface redness

Use it alone when you simply want to reduce the appearance of a red spot, or use it underneath foundation when you want additional complexion coverage.

How to Use

Option 1: On-the-Spot Redness Correction

Apply a very small amount of Muted Green directly to the area where redness is visible.

Tap or blend gently until the green is diffused into the skin and the appearance of redness is reduced.

The goal is not to make the skin look green — use only enough product to visually neutralize the red tone.

This technique is ideal for small blemishes, isolated red spots, or localized areas of redness where you may not want to apply a full face of foundation.

Option 2: Correct, Set & Cover

For more noticeable redness or when wearing Glamour Crème™ Foundation:

1. Apply a thin layer of Muted Green directly over the visible redness.

2. Blend until the corrector is diffused and the red tone appears reduced.

3. Set the corrected area lightly with LuxeCashmere™ Setting Powder — or the setting powder of your choice.

4. Apply a thin layer of Glamour Crème™ Foundation over the top to create an even, natural-looking complexion.

Setting the corrector before applying foundation helps keep the corrective color in place so your foundation can be layered over it without disturbing the work underneath.

For Larger Areas of Redness

Use a very small amount and blend it thinly across the affected area.

Avoid applying an opaque layer of green. Muted Green is highly pigmented, so start with less than you think you need and add more only where necessary.

Then set lightly with powder and apply a thin layer of Glamour Crème™ Foundation over the corrected area.

Pro Tip: The goal of color correction isn't to completely cover redness with green. Use just enough Muted Green to reduce the appearance of the red tone, set it, and then let a thin layer of foundation create the finished complexion.
