Use natural sea sponges for applying large amounts of color. Unlike manufactured sponges, sea sponges are natural so no two are ever the same. Therefore, they apply color in an uneven, organic way that creates natural looking texture, even when using a wiping motion. Use a stippling or tapping motion to create the soft, irregular patterns that replicate the natural world. Use these sponges with ProPaint™ or Disguise Stix® to create amazing characters or works of body art. Also use the unique texturing qualities of these sponges when applying liquid makeup mixtures, such as Cosmetic Powdered Metal or Luster™ Powder mixed with MagicSet™.
Natural Sea Sponges also have a place in beauty makeup. They can be used to apply cake foundation or wet Pro Powder™ Foundation to great effect. The texture of the sponge allows for a more natural application of these makeups, without the cakey, streaky finish. We sell ese sponges in two different sizes, 3" and 5", and no two are ever the same. To customize your sponge to your specific needs, cut it with a scissors into specific shapes. Also, cutting a large sponge into smaller pieces makes it easier to handle and last longer. Most makeup will wash out of the sponge so you can use it over and over again.
