Favorite Foundation Shades Found Again

When Graftobian began manufacturing HD Glamour Crème Foundations in the 1990's, we sought out the recommendations of professional makeup artists in Hollywood, New York, Paris, Toronto, Vancouver, and elsewhere. We were given approximately 60 totally amazing "Shades that Makeup Artists couldn't live without", after asking Hollywood Pro Makeup Artist Bradley M. Look for his top 40! Suzanne Patterson and Mary Erickson added the additional 20 and the work to match those Hollywood shades began.

We matched shade after shade. Many of these were colors that had been lost to the industry by great companies who had simply folded for whatever reason over the years. We thought what a shame! Great shades, from small but formerly great companies whose owners had often simply aged out. After successfully formulating each of these colors into our HD Glamour Crème, we made them all again into our GlamAire(tm) Airbrush Makeup.

Suzanne categorized each shade into Warm, Cool, or Neutral undertones, and the Graftobian Professional Makeup line was officially up and running and delighting makeup artists of all levels of expertise! This legacy assortment of HD Beauty colors gives nods to some of the best and brightest of makeup in Hollywood and elsewhere and Graftobian is very proud to have carried on these shades in honor of their original creators.

Now, most recently, Joe Blasco Cosmetics has disappeared from the market as other serious pro brands have done. But his star will not fade easily! Graftobian carries many similar shades to the joy and relief of so many who used Blasco colors in their professional work. Through our HD Glamour Cremes, these legacy shades by Graftobian continue humbly and earnestly!
